Emma McDonagh

VICE PRESIDENT

Emma started her career at Powerhouse as a Partnership and Operations Associate leading company operations and supporting client deliverables for corporate and investor partners. At Powerhouse she sourced, screened, and engaged with hundreds of clean energy and mobility startups. 

Previously, Emma lead the Architecture and Interior Design teams on a project that won first place in the 2019 Department of Energy Race to Zero competition for the design of a net zero Elementary school. Emma participated in the Foodworks program where she worked on a food accelerator initiative to address food access challenges and she also interned at Historic New England structuring resiliency planning.

Emma holds a BA from Middlebury College. At Middlebury received the Christian A. Johnson Prize for Excellence in Architecture and was also Captain of the Women’s Lacrosse team that won 2 NCAA National Championships.
